Tokaj Kúria

At our winery, we offer comfortable accommodation called Tokaj Kúria. It is located in the small village of Veľká Tŕňa, near the historic complex of Tokaj cellars. The accommodation consists of three apartments: Georgius, Jochanan, and Andreas.

​Georgius is an apartment located in the basement at the rear of the building. It has two rooms and one bathroom. The first room contains a wardrobe, a sofa that can be unfolded and turned into a bed. The second room has two separate beds, and the bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink, and bathtub.

The attic has been transformed into the Jochanan apartment. It features two rooms, a bathroom, and a balcony. The first room has a sofa that can be unfolded into a bed, a small kitchen with a refrigerator, and a dining set. There is also another small bed and a television. The second room contains a double bed, another small bed, and a wardrobe. The bathroom includes a toilet, sink, and shower.

Finally, the Andreas apartment is located in the basement at the front of the building. It has two rooms and a bathroom. The first room has an old double bed, a television, a writing desk, a small sofa, and a rocking chair. The second room has one bed that can be unfolded into a double. The bathroom contains a toilet, sink, and shower.

​Between the two apartments, there is a shared kitchen with a dining set, refrigerator, oven, washing machine, dishwasher, and sink. The entire accommodation combines modern and bourgeois styles with elements from the early 20th century. Each apartment includes vintage elements – paintings on the walls depicting real people, a functional gramophone, lamps, wardrobes, bookshelves, and more.

The exterior features a large garden with fruit trees, a campsite, a terrace, and a Hobbit house. The Hobbit house is built from white stone called tuff. Tuff is the primary stone in the Tokaj region. It imparts the typical aromas and body to our wines. All exterior walls, as well as the building itself, are made from this tuff. The exterior is designed with rocks, combined with a variety of green plants and trees.

During your stay at our accommodation, we offer bicycle rides, boat trips to Hungarian Tokaj, wine tastings, and guided tours of Slovak Tokaj.
